Regional Resources from Spay/Neuter to Medical Expenses
We receive many requests to help with personal pets, and we truly wish we had the resources to say yes to everyone.
Warrensburg Cat Advocates is a small, foster-based rescue with a very specific mission: spaying and neutering homeless community cats through TNR, followed by limited intake of kittens coming from those colonies.
Because our foster homes, volunteers, funding and veterinary appointments are limited, we are generally unable to take in owned pets or provide veterinary funding for personal pets. Every space we use outside of our mission means one less space available for a homeless community cat or kitten.
We do try to help in extraordinary situations, such as when an owner has passed away and their pets are suddenly left without a safe future.
“Saying “we can’t” is never the same as saying “we don’t care.” Staying focused on our mission is what allows us to continue making the greatest impact possible — preventing more homeless cats from being born in the first place.”
