Warrensburg Cat Advocates Mission

Warrensburg Cat Advocates (WCA) is a 501(c)(3) TNR and foster-based cat rescue organization, founded by a dedicated group of Warrensburg, Missouri community members who have come together with a shared commitment to addressing the needs of our homeless cat population in a compassionate and effective manner. WCA strongly believes that spaying and neutering programs are key to addressing the overpopulation crisis, ultimately helping community cats, pets, and people alike to lead safer, healthier, and more balanced lives.

The Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) approach provides Warrensburg and Johnson County with a humane and sustainable solution to manage and support their homeless cat populations. Beyond TNR efforts, WCA also operates as a foster-based rescue, providing care and shelter to the most vulnerable and at-risk cats within the community.

The overarching goal of WCA is to collaborate closely with the residents of Johnson County, Missouri, offering education and leading by example to demonstrate how TNR is the most effective, compassionate way to create positive outcomes for both the community and feral felines alike.
