Spaying or neutering your pet is a key step for their health and well-being.
Spaying and neutering cats is crucial for controlling the feline population and ensuring the health and well-being of individual animals. By sterilizing cats, owners help prevent unwanted litters that often contribute to overpopulation in shelters and on the streets. This reduces the number of cats that suffer from neglect, starvation, and disease.
Moreover, spaying and neutering can improve the quality of life for cats by reducing behaviors such as spraying, roaming, and aggression. It also lowers the risk of certain cancers and other health problems, contributing to longer, healthier lives.
In addition, widespread spaying and neutering lessen the burden on animal rescue organizations and shelters, enabling them to better care for the animals they do take in. Ultimately, these procedures promote responsible pet ownership and help maintain a balanced and humane approach to managing the cat population.

Warrensburg Cat Advocates is a great addition in the Warrensburg community. Feral cats are not a “problem” if there are resources for them. This group has been amazing at helping with trapping a feral cat and providing connections for him. Pancake has a second chance at a healthy life due to this group. I highly suggest supporting this group with donations so they can continue to improve kitty lives. ❤️😻

They have been the best. Helped with ferals at my office and spent so much time and energy trapping a beautiful dog that had roamed for a couple months. Such caring and compassionate people.
